Beyond the profile

More Than a Trading Profile

A name is one thing. Evidence is another.

Trader's Passport puts the evidence next to the name. It combines DB Investing's verification checks, your trading records and clearly defined indicators in one verified trader profile.

  • Verified identity: Identity and account claims checked by DB Investing.

  • Uneditable trading facts: Records drawn directly from DB Investing's systems that traders can't edit.

  • Transparent indicators: Clear readings that show what's known and what isn't.

  • One shareable profile: One link and one QR code for your entire trading identity.

Verification

What Does DB Investing Verify?

Every confirmed claim carries a “Verified by DB Investing” mark, along with the date it was checked and exactly what the check covered.

A verified trader's Passport profile displayed on a tablet

DB Investing confirms the identity behind the Passport using the checks completed on your client account.

Specific trading-account claims, such as account ownership and connected-account data, are checked against DB Investing's records and the connected account itself.

Every check shows when it took place, so viewers can tell recent evidence from older records.

Each verification states its limits. A confirmed claim covers what was checked and nothing beyond it.

Indicators

Understand Identity Confidence and Evidence Integrity

Clear indicators, built from evidence and explained in plain language.

Trader's Passport turns complex verification data into a small set of indicators that are easy to read. Each one is based on evidence, and none of them is a rating, recommendation or prediction.

01 Identity Confidence
What the data says: id_match: 3/3 sources · doc_check: passed
What you read: Shows how strongly the available information supports the trader's identity. The more consistent, verified information there is, the clearer the picture.
02 Evidence Integrity
What the data says: feed: broker-sourced · gaps: 0 · hash: intact
What you read: Shows how complete and reliable the supporting evidence behind a Passport is, including whether trading data is consistent, sourced and intact.
03 Reputation
What the data says: community_signals: below threshold → null
What you read: Reflects a trader's standing in the community, based on evidence rather than popularity. It stays unavailable when there isn't enough data to support it.
04 Risk Level
What the data says: history: insufficient → risk_profile: null
What you read: Summarises the risk profile of the trading behaviour on record. Where the data is insufficient, it is withheld rather than estimated.

Indicators are informational only. They are not ratings, recommendations or predictions. Past performance does not predict future results.

Data Labels

Verified vs. Self-Reported Trading Information

Every piece of information on a Trader's Passport is clearly labelled by where it comes from. That way, a personal claim is never mistaken for a confirmed fact.

Verified Information

  • Comes from DB Investing's records or a check DB Investing has completed
  • Can't be edited by the trader
  • Shows its verification date

 Self-Reported Information

  • Provided by the trader, such as a bio, trading style or market focus
  • Not checked by DB Investing
  • Clearly marked so viewers can weigh it accordingly

Your control: You decide which fields are public. You can't change what verified trading facts say.

Limits

What Trading Verification Cannot Tell You

A verified trader profile gives context, not certainty. Trader's Passport is designed to show what has been checked and to be just as clear about what hasn't.

  1. 01

    It isn't an endorsement.

Verification confirms specific claims. It doesn't mean DB Investing recommends or approves any trader.

  2. 02

    It doesn't predict results.

Past performance does not predict future results.

  3. 03

It doesn't fill gaps with guesses.

Where data is insufficient, indicators are marked Not enough data rather than estimated.

  4. 04

It reflects a moment in time.

Older evidence is marked Stale, so viewers know when information may no longer be current.

  5. 05

It doesn't replace your own judgement.

The Passport supports more informed assessments. The decision is always yours.
